May 2003, we go to Paggalungan Pikit. That is my first time to visit
there with MCL staff. 8:00 A.M we start to go in Paggalungan and we come
here at 9:00 o'clock in the morning. So, one hour private ride. When we
come here I think why there are so many children go to school even though
vacation time and I feel pity them. Because they have no chair and they
are sit only on the land, but there is a floor mat and also their building
have no wall.
I ask the one teacher, why they have no chair and have no good building?
And the teacher say that they had a new building school but it was destroyed
because there was a fighting and someone make it fire and they don't know
who will do this. It is difficult for many children and for the teacher
because they are have no building now.
I ask also why they are having a class even though vacation time? They
teacher say that the children have not good study in classes time because
they are effective the fire happen in their school. So we are very pity
the situation of many people here.
That is the first place that I saw many children are in difficult situation.
When I saw them, I feel lonely. I pray to the lord God that hopes the people
have a peace and hope they are lived happily.
