GHOST TOWN 2

              We went again to the village of Inug-ug in May 7, 2003 and we have seen the situation of the children in that school. The school was burned the night of April 9, 2003. That was not a concrete school but at least the children are comfortable with their situation. They have there tables and chairs for them to use for there class. But there are people who wanted to see other people suffered. The school was burned and the children that has nothing to do but to prepare for there future are the one who are greatly affected. I fell pity when I saw the situation  of the children because even of what had happened in their school they are still having a class. After the school was burned the parents make a tent for them to be temporarily used so that they can continue there class and the class were not canceled again. While they were having a class they are sitting near from each other without any chairs and tables, even there teachers are suffering of the same situation. The children are holding there notebooks while they are writing. This is one of the proof that the children are very interested to go to school because even of the difficulties that they encounter they are still their to continue there studies.
                 One of the teacher told me that the school is finance buy the other country. The organization of the community and family services international , a fund coming from the other country to support the children who are affected of the conflict between the government soldiers and the Moslem rebels. This school is for elementary and exclusive for Moslem people only. It was established in the year 2000. There are about 500 hundred pupils enrolled in the special school and because of their situation that they afraid of the sudden fight of those armed men, the class began in February of the same year. They did not follow the usual schedule of the class to cope up the months that they missed, until summer they are still having a class. They started their class at 9:00 o'clock in the morning and it end at 12:00 noon to have their lunch and at 1:00 o'clock the classes resume and it end at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon. They dismissed the pupils early for there security. All children in this school are free for there school fees, school uniforms, school supplies and some of there personal needs. They are also free for their lunch everyday, every mother are giving their own schedule to cooked for the food of the children. There are six mother assigned to cook everyday. The parents are happy then, because there are people who always ready to help, specially for the future of the children, but there are people who don’t want to see other people happy. It seems like they are happy to see other people suffer. There’s a rumors that the school was burned because they wanted to have a concrete building, but surely it is not the parents because the parents don’t want to see there children suffer of that situation.
