| Got this from a friend.. Make yourfavorite stuffing recipe, omitting any sage, but addingeverything else. She makes a cornbread stuffing, it goeswell with oysters. For 10 people, have onhand: 1 regular can (12 oz.) of white corn (yellow if youprefer) 10-15 oysters (in a jar). Whole or cut into 1/2 or 1/3pieces, your preference. 1 lemon FreshDill Fresh Tarragon Directions: Make thestuffing and add the above, using approximately 1 T. eachof Dill and Tarragon (to taste). Drain thecorn, but make sure you add the juice from the oysters,being careful not to add any sand that may be in thejar (rare, but it does happen). Use the juiceof 1 whole lemon. Make sure everything ismixed well then bake, covered for 1 hour/ uncovered foran extra 10 min. if you like a little "crust" ontop. option: a little tabasco prior to baking ads a niceflavor. | |
